Today in class, we got our tests back and I have to say I could have done better. I think everyone says that about their test grades whether it's good or bad. We also discussed, the Writing Process Worksheet which is a format that helps you put an essay together with the correct process. It includes the three stages that we've learned earlier on in class. I believe that it is important to have a format ready to help you out on an essay over just going for it hoping for the best to come out of it. So, we got to try out the writing process worksheet and I have set my mind to always use this process when I need to write an essay. It really helped me break down my material and how to format it. Dividing all stages, written, really helps you when you have the urge to wanting to get it all right.

I agree, I felt like I could have done better on my test as well, there is always next time though. I think that the worksheet helped me too. I seem to have the hardest time keeping the stages and what you need to do in order in my head. So to have it written and in front of me helps me a lot till I can start to memorize it.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I haven't seen my exact test, but it seems that the extra credit was very helpful. I wish I was there to complete the worksheet. I am sure it makes a big difference, but I would like to see if I am able to put in as much information as the students in the examples did. Having a format ready is always a wonderful thing. It sets everything in an organized fashion so that when it comes down to putting it all together, we just fill in the blanks.
