Reading for Writing.
I hope that I'm not the only one that now has a better understanding on how to find the important information in reading. I have always had a hard time figuring out what is important and what isn't, I would highlight full paragraphs thinking it was all important. I'm just excited I have more information on how to find the important factors in reading.

perhaps not. it also helps to read the paragraph over and try to understand what the paragraphs intention is then its body will reveal its important facts. for example those located in parentaceses and quotations.
