UOG's 60th Anniversary Celebration

On Monday we spent the class time in room 129 at the SBPA building to celebrate UOG's 60th Anniversary. I am glad I got to experience this celebration with motivational speeches and entertainment. Dr. Underwood's speech about being a teacher and proud of it, was very inspirational because if we didn't have teachers we wouldn't have any other occupations. We had entertainment performed by the Star Gazers Dance Troop along with another dance performance, but I didn't catch the name. There were songs being performed by Lovely and Christian, they did an amazing job. To end all this fun everyone joined together in song.

  1. IT was fun, I'm just sad I had to leave early to feed my family. I would have loved to try the food they had their. I have only gotten to taste a few of the native foods here. But I have learned a little bit. I LOVED the dances that were done, back where I'm from, they weren't allowed to dance like that because it was to "suggestive".

  3. I had a good time, as well. I am happy that Dr. Rivera was so kind to include us in the event. The entertainment, singing of songs and motivational speeches were also parts of the event that I enjoyed too.
