2/21/12

Today in class, we learned about two different patterns of paragraphs. Each patterns shows a different paragraph structure. Pattern A includes a topic sentence followed by supporting sentences. Pattern B follows Pattern A's structure adding a concluding sentence at the end. Our lesson was cut short due to slow internet speed. This is my first blog post so good thing Dr. Rivera told us about using certain abbreviations on facebook and not on our blogs. We were told about our first test on Monday so I should really study this weekend since I was out for a few chapters.

  1. Good luck on the test. I know I need to read the chapters again so I can just remember everything. I hope that you are able to keep blogging its nice to see everyone blogging and doing what they need to do so they can pass the class. I would hate to have to see you, or anyone else, have to retake the class.

  2. This is the first time that I have learned about the two paragraphs. I am glad that I was able to learn it very quickly. It was such an inconvenience that the internet was not cooperating with us. I appreciate how she always reminds us of all these things. It is a good reminder of the appropriate grammar skills that are used for college and slangs that should only be used on Facebook.
