Sadly I missed class this day, hopefully with some help I will have a better understanding of the controlling idea. I have always had a hard time understanding what is effective/ineffective for a sentence. I have always had a hard time when it came down to the structure of a sentence though, I feel like its not all that important when you are out in the real world, out of school anyway. When are you going to have to tell someone what a pronoun is?? Any who, wish I had been there to get a better understanding of how to do this.

I hope your son is better! I had some trouble with that, too. We will just help each other out on that section. The way Dr. Rivera explained the parts of the sentence really helped me in understanding it. I am sure you will get it when you come back in class. Hope to see you Monday!
ReplyDeleteHe is, from what I am seeing, he went back to the CDC today so we will see. I hope I will get it since I have had a hard time with understanding if I missed something. Specially with math, its the worst.
